Billy lived with his mother, Rachel, and father, Jessiah, in Aquvy, and after a few years a younger sister named Primera. His father disappeared one day and from then on was raised solely by his mother.

After several years, their house suffered an attack by Wels and Rachel was killed. Billy and Primera were able to hide, but only barely escaped detection long enough for Bishop Stone of the Ethos to arrive and deal with the monsters. Billy soon joined the Ethos and placed Primera in their care while he trained to become an Etone so he to could battle the Wels. Billy also constructed an orphanage to care for homeless children.

Jessiah returned after several years, but was a changed man. Billy doesn't even believe he really is his father. Primera took to him immediately, however, much to Billy's annoyance. Billy and his father have since been at odds with the addition of Jessiah's dislike of the Ethos piled on top of his apparent abandonment of their family.

Billy has several weapons, but they can all be placed into the category of guns. He uses a handgun, an ether gun, and a "big gun" in combat according to the desired power of the move. His aim is unerring and he never misses. Adding to his value in combat is a wide range of powerful healing and status enhancement spells learned from the ethos.
